Nenita Lorenzo-Santos

 

Nanette Lorenzo-Santos was among the first members and incorporators of Cartwheel Foundation. It was she who actually came up with the name of the Foundation. Since then, she has continuously supported Cartwheel as one of its Trustees. Nanette has always been in the academe as a profession. Even before completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1990, she had already taught Pre-School in The Learning Child School in Alabang, Muntinlupa. From 1992 to 1995, she pursued graduate studies for Basic Education Teaching also at the Ateneo. From 1991 up to 2005, she was a Christian Living and Language Teacher, then a Student Activities Coordinator, and consequently a Level Coordinator of the Grade School of St. Pedro Poveda College in Quezon City. Currently, she is on sabbatical from the College while she is based in California. She remains a consultant of the College while doing volunteer work for the Mercy Sisters in San Francisco.
